International Rescue Committee (IRC)

IRC on the Road

Are you interested in learning about  refugees? The IRC can help with a Refugee 101 presentation. The 101 presentation is the perfect fit to help community groups, businesses and schools learn more about refugees. It provides an overview of the refugee situation in the world and IRC services in Phoenix.  As one audience member said, the 101 is a “fascinating look at a topic we hear so little about.”

The IRC also has an active bureau of refugee speakers who share their stories with the community. These speakers offer a powerful insight into the often harrowing journey to safety in the States. They can be an excellent way to get your community interested in the refugee community on a personal level. Help others learn about refugees in the valley by scheduling a presentation today.
