Sign Up For Gila Farm’s Winter Farm Cooperative
The New Roots Farm & Food Security Team at the International Rescue Committee is excited to announce Gila Farm Cooperative is now taking registrations for their winter CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). The cooperative was formed by a group of farmers that have logged several seasons of farming experience in Phoenix under the guidance and support of the IRC’s New Roots staff.
Sign up online for ten weeks of mouth-watering fresh vegetables and donate money towards a low-income refugee family share, so that they too can eat fresh local produce. To register, learn more about the cooperative, the farmers and the CSA please visit their webpage at www.gilafarm.org.
The Gila Farm Cooperative’s main purpose is to support refugee farmers and gardeners in Arizona. It is a group of experienced refugee farmers that have come together to support each other and provide their customers with a constant quality product. They are excited to be offering the fruits of their labor to local Phoenix families.
