Support New Americans Rebuilding their Lives in Phoenix

The impact that in-kind donations make on the refugee community is invaluable: work-appropriate clothing helps secure jobs, household items turn housing into a home, and bicycles provide a clean, sustainable way for refugees to navigate their new city.

IRC accepts new or gently used items in working order for distribution to newly arrived refugees. We currently are in great need of disposable and cloth diapers (sizes 3, 4 and up) shampoo, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, razors, general household cleaners and laundry detergent. These personal and home hygiene products are critical to the health and safety of refugees, but are very expensive to purchase on a limited budget. We will be accepting these items during our donations drop-off hours, Wednesday mornings from 9 – 12pm and Thursday afternoons from 12 – 4pm at the IRC office.

For more information about making an in-kind contribution to the IRC, please contact Rachel Aherin, Development Associate, at rachel.aherin@theIRC.org or 602.433.2440 ext. 231.
