You’re Invited: New Roots Farm Raising 9/15

Join New Roots 2012 and help us to grow good in your community! 

This September, the IRC will celebrate the growth of our New Roots program with the launch of a groundbreaking awareness and fundraising campaign. Be a part of this exciting community effort by helping us “raise the roof” on a hoop house/greenhouse.

When: Saturday, September 15 from 8am-12pm
Where: Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery, 8502 West Pinchot Ave Phoenix, AZ 85037 (enter from Thomas Road and 85th Avenue)

Work and education stations begin at 8am, followed by the completion of the green house raising, and a celebration and awards ceremony to recognize New Roots partners.

This is a family-friendly event and is free and open to the public. Wear comfortable clothing and bring work gloves if you have them.
