IRC in Salt Lake City Wishlist

In order to better serve the refugees in our community, we need your help! Here is a list of items we are currently looking for to provide the best possible service to refugees resettled through the IRC:

• Box truck or enclosed/flat-bed trailer: Each month over 50 refugees arrive through the IRC, and we are responsible for outfitting each apartment with pots and pans, cleaning supplies, donated furniture, etc. In order to transport all of these items, a box truck or trailer would be very helpful.
• Storage Pod: We provide refugees with all furniture, cleaning supplies, and kitchenware in their homes and much of this is stored at our office. We would greatly benefit from having a storage pod on site to store in-kind donations for families.
• Computers: to give to refugees for use at home
• Furniture donations: We are responsible for providing refugees with the basic furniture they need to make them comfortable in their new home. We are always looking for new/gently used couches, kitchen tables/chairs, dressers, desk, etc.
