Please join us for the grand opening of the Mt. Olympus Garden
As the gardening season begins, the IRC in Salt Lake City and the New Roots program are pleased to announce the opening of a new Mt. Olympus garden in Holladay City. Check out Salt Lake Tribune article here to learn more about the garden!
The Mt. Olympus garden will greatly enhance the ability of New Roots to provide gardening opportunities to refugee families. The Mount Olympus garden was developed in partnership with Holladay City, Salt Lake County, Salt Lake City and the New Roots program to provide gardening space for 27 refugee families and students at Howard Driggs Elementary School. The garden will create more opportunities for refugees and community members to interact in a friendly garden setting.
Please join us for the grand opening of the Mt. Olympus Garden on Friday, May 4th at 12:00pm. The Mt. Olympus Garden is located at 2660 East 4500 South, Holladay City, UT.
