Spy Hop Productions provides scholarship to refugee youth
During each session of our Youth Program, participants get the opportunity to visit Spy Hop Productions. Spy Hop’s mission is “to mentor young people in the digital media arts to help them find their voice, tell their stories, and be empowered to affect positive change in their lives, their communities, and the World.” Spy Hop will now be offering one scholarship per month for one of IRC's refugee youth to attend a three-week media lab. In these media labs, kids learn the skills and tools to express themselves and tell stories through digital media. They can participate in labs to learn about lighting and shooting styles to create short films, or work with a team to build their very own video game using Unity 3D. We are excited for this opportunity Spy Hop is providing for refugee youth to learn new skills, meet new people and discover new forms of expression through digital media. Thank you Spy Hop!
