Thank you to LDS Community Support Services!

Our deepest gratitude goes to LDS Community Support Services of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for awarding us a $100,000 grant to provide bedding to newly arrived refugees. With this grant, we will be able to provide beds for every new refugee that arrives this year, and then some. Refugees will receive standard mattresses, box springs and bed frames, but will also receive cribs, bunkbeds, or headboards when necessary. All bedding is constructed at Deseret Industries Manufacturing, where some refugees work through the training program to do anything from sewing the quilting to painting wooden frames to constructing the beds themselves. We cannot thank LDS Community Support Services enough for the services they provide for refugees in the Salt Lake City community!
