You’re invited to two community DIY fundraising events
Each month community members and volunteers coordinate Do It Yourself (DIY) fundraisers to raise funds and awareness for the IRC in Salt Lake City. This month there are two fun events and you’re invited!
Cerise Holiday Party and Art Sale on December 9th
Kent Cerise, a supporter of the IRC SLC, and the Patrick Moore Gallery will be hosting a holiday party and art sale featuring local artists with gift items for sale. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the IRC SLC. IRC SLC representatives will be available to answer questions and to provide information on ways to get involved. Come support local artists, enjoy some holiday treats and learn more about the IRC SLC. For more information visit the Facebook event page.

Matteo Benefit Concert on December 27th
Matteo, a local indie-folk band, is excited to invite you to be part of something they're pretty excited about. They love playing together, and have had a great time these past few years doing just that. But they wanted to do something more and have decided to play a benefit concert with the goal of raising $1,000.00 to donate to the IRC SLC.
They will be putting on a concert on Tuesday December 27th in the auditorium of the downtown SLC library. Matteo will be collaborating with local refugee musicians for the event. The concert is free and open to the public. In order to meet their fundraising goal they will take donations online. For a $10 (or more) online contribution, Matteo will give you their new album "The Morning Market." They will continue accepting funds until the last day of this year. To learn more about Matteo visit their Facebook page or visit the event page.
