Backpack Campaign Thank You

This is a special thank you to all the donors who contributed to the IRC Backpack Campaign! 

It was a great success and refugee children were proud to start school with their new backpacks and school supplies.

The San Diego community donated over 200 backpacks filled with school supplies. The backpacks were delivered to refgugee children who arrived during the summer months and were starting school in the US for the first time.  

Special thanks to Earnest Eats for providing healthy snacks for the backpacks and to Covance and Argen Corporation for making the IRC Backpack compaign part of their corporate giving programs.
