IRC Receives Grant from San Diego County Bar Foundation
The IRC Immigration Department is a proud recipient of a San Diego County Bar Foundation grant for the fifth consecutive year.
The San Diego County Bar Foundation has played a large role in keeping the IRC immigration service fees affordable for refugees and immigrants. The grant allows IRC’s Bureau of Immigration Appeals Accredited case managers to provide low cost, culturally sensitive legal services to this often under represented population.
In addition to assistance with immigration applications, the grant will allow the IRC increased ability to prepare fee waiver requests to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for eligible clients. The fee to USCIS for a citizenship application is $675 per adult, which is cost prohibitive for some of our clients.
Thank you San Diego County Bar Foundation!
