New Community Garden in El Cajon!
The newest addition to the IRC Food Security Program is the New Roots Fresh Farm Community Garden in El Cajon. This garden is a partnership project between the IRC and Kaiser Permanente and will serve as a community wellness hub in El Cajon, promoting healthy foods and active lifestyles for residents.
The New Roots Fresh Farm Community Garden (NRFF) hosts forty garden plots, now in construction, and includes plans for a fruit tree orchard, communal gardening, and community workshops.
Volunteer Work Days will start in October. Join us!
