Refugee Soccer Tournament - Sunday, April 25

Update:  The Refugee Soccer Tournament has been postponed.  New date to be determined.

On Sunday, April 25, the IRC will partner with KPBS and La Jolla Country Day School to host a boys soccer tournament as part of the One Book One San Diego series of events.  Soccer teams from IRC's Student Plus After School Program Soccer League will compete against soccer teams from Patrick Henry High School and La Jolla Country Day School (LJCDS).
LJCDS students will host a lunch for the students from all three schools to socialize and raise awareness of the IRC’s mission in San Diego.

The One Book One San Diego book is Outcasts United which tells the story of a refugee soccer team in Atlanta.  Many of the students in the book were clients of the IRC in Atlanta.
