On Thursday, April 26th, Gordon Boerner from US Bank presented the IRC with $20,000 to support the IRC Center for Financial Opportunity.
The IRC Center for Financial Opportunity provides a comprehensive range of economic development services to refugees and low-income households. Last year, the center assisted over 1,800 clients with tax preparation, microenterprise, financial education and workforce development programs.
“US Bank continues to be one of our key partners in the community, and these funds provide much needed support for our economic development efforts,” said Bob Montgomery, IRC Executive Director.
In addition to financial support, US Bank also provides lending expertise to help guide IRC’s lending decisions for business loans and offers IRC clients reduced-fee services.
