Volunteer Work Days at New Roots in El Cajon

The IRC New Roots Fresh Farm Community Garden provides growing space for 40 families in El Cajon.  Many of the participants were farmers in their home countries and this is their first opportunity to grow crops in the United States.

The IRC is hosting Saturday volunteer farm work days at the New Roots Fresh Farm Community Garden.   Volunteers will help with the community area of the farm.  This is a great way to spend time outside and support the community garden.

Groups are welcome as are teenagers (over age 14) with accompanying adult supervision.
