World Refugee Day

The San Diego celebration of World Refugee Day will be on Saturday, June 16th, 2012 at MOPA (Museum of Photographic Arts) in Balboa Park from 3pm - 7pm.  

This free event honors the struggles and highlights the contributions of refugees to our community.   The IRC is participating in this event along with the following organizations:  United States Association for UNHCR, San Diego Refugee Forum, YALLA, Karen Organization of San Diego, and the San Diego Museum of Photographic Arts.  

Bob Montgomery, Executive Director of the IRC in San Diego, will give opening remarks at the event. Hope to see you there!
