Save the Date: IRC’s 2011 Humanitarian Award Dinner—October 25th, 2011 in San Francisco

IRC’s annual Humanitarian Dinner brings together IRC supporters from throughout the Bay Area, Southern California, New York and beyond to honor the five recipients of the Sarlo Foundation Distinguished Humanitarian Service Awards.  Join us in celebrating our own Amir Music, Finance Manager/ Immigration Specialist, as one of the award recipients.  We are very proud of you Amir!  Congratulations on your much deserved award and thank you for all you do to further the work of the IRC!

These awards were established in 2001 by Bay Area venture capitalist George Sarlo.  An IRC Board member and former refugee himself, Mr. Sarlo wanted to find an appropriate way to honor the “unsung heroes” of humanitarian work – those frontline workers who often put their own lives at risk to save and improve the lives of others.
