Adopt-a-Family and Gift Card Donors Still Needed!

We’ve had a wonderful community response to our call for Adopt-a-Family donors, but we could still use more!  We are also accepting gift card donations if you are unable to shop for an entire household. 
The IRC Adopt-a-Family program matches community sponsors with refugees resettled in 2010.  Through Adopt-a-Family you have an opportunity to bring joy to these new arrivals and help make individuals and families feel welcomed into our community.  

Each refugee household is matched with a donor who shops, wraps, and delivers gifts between December 11- 22nd. Most family's wish lists consist of basic items such as winter clothing, socks, shoes and boots, school supplies and toys for the kids.
 
Make a difference in the lives of a refugee family this year.  Please talk to your co-workers, friends, family members - anyone you think might be interested - to see if they would like to sponsor a family this year.
