VISTA Positions with the Refugee Support Network!
The Refugee Support Network (RSN) is a coalition of refugee service providers in the Seattle/King County region with the International Rescue Committee as lead agency. The IRC’s partners in the RSN include Asian Counseling and Referral Service, East African Community Services, Jewish Family Services, School's Out Washington and Somali Community Services Coalition. We are currently recruiting for five AmeriCorps Vista positions and one Vista leader (the leader position requires that the applicant has already served as a Vista) to begin in April. We have a tight recruitment deadline, so if you’re interested please apply soon. To find and apply for positions please visit the AmeriCorps Vista website and search for Refugee Support Network in Washington State.
AmeriCorps*VISTA is a federally subsidized program that offers participants a monthly living allowance of $977.00 ($1,177 for the VISTA Leader), medical benefits, childcare assistance (if income eligible) and an education award of $5500 or a stipend of $1,500 ($3000 for the VISTA Leader) upon completion of the year of service.
If you have questions about the Refugee Support Network, please contact Jennifer Malloy at Jennifer.Malloy@rescue.org.
