June Volunteer Orientations

If you are interested in volunteering with the IRC in Seattle, the first step is to attend one of our volunteer orientations.  Orientation provides an overview of the refugee process, the work of the IRC and our current volunteer needs. The IRC in Seattle holds volunteer orientations on the first Wednesday of every month and the following Friday.  Our next orientations will be:

Wednesday, June 6th at 6:00pm
Friday, June 8th at 1:00pm

Orientations are held at our Seattle office in the Westland Building at 100 South King St. (NE Corner of 1st and King), Suite 570, Seattle, WA 98104. We are near Safeco and Century Link (formerly Qwest ) fields, so please be aware that traffic and parking can be challenging on game days!  The doors to our building lock at 6:00pm, so please call the number posted on the door when you arrive and we'll come let you in. It is important to arrive by 6:00pm for our evening orientations, as we will not be able to come down to let people in after the orientation has started.

If you have questions, please contact our office at 206-623-2105 or at VolunteerSEA@rescue.org.  Thanks for your interest in volunteering!
