We Need Donations!
In fall 2012, the IRC in Silver Spring officially opened the 'Stop and Shop', a donations store which allows clients to shop for clothing and household goods at no cost.  In order to maintain inventory in the shop, we rely on community donations and regular donations drives.
We are currently in need of spring and summer clothing for men, women, and children including:

• Short sleeved shirts
• Dresses
• Skirts
• Shorts and Pants
• Shoes
• Light weight jackets

We are also always in need of donations for babies and new mothers including:

• Diapers (cloth and disposable)
• Bottles
• Baby Clothes
• Formula
• Baby Wipes
• Blankets
• Car seats and strollers
• Pack-and-Play
• Books and Toys

Finally, household, cleaning, and personal items are also well received:

• Tea Kettle
• Rice Cooker
• Large Pots
• Coffee Mugs
• Shampoo and soap
• Toilet Paper
• Tooth Brush and Tooth Paste
• Deoderant
• Razors and Shaving Cream
• Paper Towels
• Laundry Detergent
• Dish Soap
• Sponges
• Cleaning agents

We will also be accepting donations to the office on a rolling basis on Wednesday mornings from 9am-2pm and Thursday afternoons from 12pm-5pm.  
 
Bring them by the office and let the receptionist know you would like to drop off donations.  Tax receipts are available.
