Rice or Soap? Help Alleviate this Choice

  1. A mother of 3 children under 5 years old: DIAPERS
  2. A young man searching for a job with little more than a smile and a few English words: LAUNDRY DETERGENT
  3. A father supporting his family on a 20 hour paycheck: SOAP

Being resettled in a new country is difficult.  Many refugees must balance learning English, raising children, and searching for a job, all with limited funds. The high cost of living may often force families to ask themselves, "Should I buy rice or soap this week?"  You can help alleviate this choice by donating basic hygiene products, cleaning supplies and baby items like diapers.

With new arrivals coming every day, it has been increasingly difficult for us to keep our closets stocked with these basic necessities. Too many times we have had to turn people away. We need your help to re-stock our shelves and give refugees a hand in fulfilling their basic needs.
