First Meeting of our Professional Development Mentor Program

IRC Silver Spring is excited to announce the first meeting of our Professional Development Mentor Program, to take place Thursday, June 10th at 6:30pm. We have had a great response from professionals in the DC and Maryland areas who are offering their generosity to refugees and asylees. We are hoping to help get people back on the professional career track they were on before they were forced to flee their homes due to war, violence, disaster and persecution. Representing doctors, lawyers, IT professionals, engineers, accountants, diplomats, researchers, teachers, and on and on, refugees and asylees are courageous, dedicated, resilient and committed individuals.
