Help Keep Refugees Warm this Winter!

Many refugees arrive to the US with only the clothes on their back,  without family ties, without knowledge of the English language and without financial resources.  This winter, you can be a part of welcoming refugees to their new home in the United States!  With the cold winter weather quickly approaching, the IRC Silver Spring office is organizing an urgent winter clothing, coat and blanket drive.  Our goal is to outfit 200 refugees of all ages with warm winter clothing.  We plan to start distributing these items in the first week of November and we need your help NOW!  For more information on the IRC in Silver Spring and how you can help, please write to WashingtonDC@theirc.org.  All donations and assistance is sincerely appreciated!
