New Resettlement Agencies in Maryland

The Suburban Washington Resettlement Center partnership is growing. IRC Silver Spring is pleased to have Kurdish Human Rights Watch (KHRW) and the Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC) in the partnership and we are looking forwarded to working with them in the future. We thank them for joining us and welcome to our unique program.

On February 11th, the Maryland Office of Refugees and Asylees hosted a partner meeting with the IRC, Kurdish Human Rights Watch and the Ethiopian Community Development Council. The growing partnership in Silver Spring includes the International Rescue Committee, Lutheran Social Services, the Department of Health and Human Services, Baltimore City Community College, Jewish Social Services Agency and the Montgomery County Refugee Training Center. KHRW and ECDC join this unique partnership to become an additional force in resettling refugees and providing services to new-comers to Maryland.
