Smile Maryland Dental Clinic Visits IRC

 
On September 14th, the IRC Silver Spring transformed its conference room into a dental office for a day. Smile Maryland Mobile Dental Clinic came to the IRC in Silver Spring for the second year in a row, setting up examination chairs, an x-ray camera and other dental equipment to create a dental office for some of our youngest clients. Over the course of the day, 34 children were seen by the dentist. The children all received free dental exams, x-rays, cleanings, sealants, referrals and free toothbrushes. For many of the children, it was their very first visit to the dentist and promised even brighter smiles in their future.
