We are now accepting applications for eight unique summer internship positions! Internships are a great way to gain applied experience in humanitarian work. Every intern works under the supervision of an IRC staff member and helps fulfill our mission to welcome and support humanitarian immigrant clients in Baltimore.
About the positions
All summer 2021 internships will start remotely. The IRC will determine if and when in-person or office-based activities may start for summer interns. Full position descriptions and requirements are available at the links below.
- Case management
- Community engagement
- Cultural orientation and education
- Employment and financial coaching
- Health and intensive case management
- Immigration legal services (requires 4-5 full days per week)
- Logistics and housing
- Youth case management
Internships require a commitment of at least 15 hours per week for 12 weeks. Our summer cohort starts with an orientation on Friday, May 21, 2021. Regular internship hours begin the week of May 24 and continue through August 13, 2021. University credit may be arranged for student interns.
