In partnership with the National Resource Center for Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (NRC-RIM), the IRC in Atlanta is pleased to offer several resources—in multiple languages—that provide clear and accurate information on the COVID-19 vaccine and address common questions and concerns.
Both IRC branded and non-branded ‘Vaccine Facts’ flyers are available to download below. We encourage community-based organizations to add their own logo and branding to these flyers and share them widely. The flyers are available in the following languages: Arabic, Burmese, Dari, French, Karen, Kinyarwanda, Lingala, Nepali, Pashto, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Tigrinya and Ukrainian.
In addition to these flyers, the IRC in Atlanta recently partnered with local faith leader and founder of African & Immigrant Communities of America, Inc., Imam Sheikh Salahadin Wazir, to record in-language video messages, answering the question 'Is the COVID-19 Vaccine Halal?' Imam Wazir discusses the importance of protecting ourselves against this pandemic and how he will soon be getting the vaccine himself. These videos are available on the IRC in Atlanta’s YouTube Channel at the links below —please share widely.
