The IRC’s Seattle office offer a variety of unpaid internship opportunities throughout the year. Prospective interns must go through the volunteer process and should be currently enrolled in an educational institution or a recent graduate. For more information, contact VolunteerSeattle [at] rescue.org (subject: Internship%20opportunities%20at%20IRC%20Seattle) .
The IRC hosts interns throughout the school year and during the summer. Many volunteer positions can be considered internships if 1) you are a student or recent graduate and 2) the volunteer position fulfills your school’s policies and requirements (if applicable) and provides professional development opportunities for the intern. If none of our volunteer positions meet your school’s requirements, we welcome inquiries about customized internship experiences.
The IRC has a robust summer internship program, with unique opportunities not available year-round. Recruitment for summer internships begins in early spring. Applicants need not attend a volunteer orientation prior to applying. To be contacted when summer internship opportunities are posted, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at VolunteerSEA [at] rescue.org (subject: Internship%20opportunities%20at%20IRC%20Seattle) .
