WHAT: Missoula Gives is a community wide giving day fueled by collaboration and social media.

WHEN: May 3 at 5 PM through May 4 at 10 PM. Donate anytime between these dates and encourage your friends and family to do the same! **Update** Donations are now being accepted on the Missoula Gives IRC in Missoula donation page!

WHERE: You can give from anywhere! Simply visit our Missoula Gives donation page and click on the donate button. Also look for us during First Friday tabling downtown (location TBA). https://www.missoulagives.org/organizations/international-rescue-committee-in-missoula

WHY: The International Rescue Committee is the resettlement agency in Montana providing core resettlement services to refugee families. Your donations have a direct impact on helping refugees secure their most basic needs: housing, employment, daycare for their children, and transportation. Most importantly, your gift also helps refugees regain control of their futures.

This year we have a very specific goal. We want to help our families send their children to summer camp which can be expensive especially if a family does not qualify for assistance. Your donation during Missoula gives will contribute to sending refugee children to summer camp. The benefits are threefold: children retain knowledge they learned in the previous school year setting them up to successfully transition into the next grade, parents free up valuable time to engage in the workforce and make money for their family without having to worry about child care, and finally, the kids get to have fun!

IRC in Missoula staff want to thank all of you for your continued support of our work and in helping to make Missoula an ideal and welcoming place for refugees and their families!
