We are now accepting applications for seven fall internship positions and one academic year position! Internships are a great way to gain applied experience in humanitarian work. Every intern works under the supervision of an IRC staff member and helps fulfill our mission to welcome and support humanitarian immigrant clients in Baltimore.
About the positions
All fall 2021 internships will be partially or fully remote. The IRC will determine if and when internship positions may include some in-person or office-based activities. Full position descriptions, requirements and applications are available at the links below.
- Case management
- Community engagement
- Cultural orientation and education
- Employment and financial coaching
- Health and intensive case management
- Immigration legal services (academic-year internship through May 2022)
- Logistics and housing
- Youth case management
Internships require a commitment of at least 15 hours per week for 12 weeks. (Note: the immigration legal services internship requires a commitment through May 2022). Our fall cohort starts with an orientation on Friday, September 17, 2021. Regular internship hours begin the week of September 20 and continue through December 10, 2021. University credit may be arranged for student interns.
