Thank you for your support on #GiveMiamiDay!

Last updated

Thanks to you and other generous supporters, we raised more than $1,100 on Give Miami Day! Donations from community members like you ensure survivors of human trafficking and unaccompanied children in Miami-Dade County continue to have access to our vital, life-changing programs and assistance.

About the IRC in Miami:

The IRC opened its locally-funded office in Miami in 1960 in response to the Cuban Revolution and, over the decades, has served tens of thousands of refugees, asylees, Cuban entrants, survivors of trafficking and other vulnerable populations in South Florida. Although the IRC in Miami's refugee resettlement program concluded in 2018, the office continues to serve the community by providing holistic, trauma-informed services to survivors of human trafficking as well as unaccompanied children and their families; conducting public outreach and education to raise awareness of human trafficking; and co-leading the Federal South Florida Human Trafficking Task Force in partnership with local and federal government law enforcement agencies.

Together with generous donors—like yourself—as well as businesses, schools, faith communities and civic organizations, the IRC in Miami works to ensure vulnerable populations can integrate and thrive in South Florida communities.
