The CDC now advises anyone going into public wear cloth masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Additionally, many Arizona cities are requiring face masks in public spaces. The IRC in Arizona urgently needs cloth or single-use masks to help those we serve protect themselves, their families and help reduce the spread of Covid-19. Mayors in both Phoenix and Tuscon have made it a requirement to wear face masks in public places and to take public transit, in order to reduce the spread of this deadly disease.
With cases spiking in Arizona, we urgently need your help to keep our community safe. Employers require masks for those we serve in order to return to work, but may not provide them.
Donate or sew masks:
If you are able to create homemade masks, please visit the CDC website for instructions on sewing effective face coverings. In Phoenix? Learn more about this important volunteer opportunity in Phoenix. If you live in Tuscon, please refer to these instructions. Out of state and corporate supporters are welcome and encouraged to pitch in.
If you're not able to sew your own, please consider purchasing masks from our Amazon Wishlist for either our Welcome Center, or Glendale office location. Both sites urgently need masks for the families we serve.
If you have masks you can donate, you may send them to:

Please join the IRC in reducing the spread of Covid-19 and help keep Arizonans safe by wearing a mask at all times in public. Thank you for your generosity during this difficult time.
