Katrina Goli, Intensive Case Management AmeriCorps, New York.

Katrina Goli comes to the IRC after years of overseeing corporate transactions on Wall Street and hasn't looked back since. Never having previously held dirt, she apprenticed in farms on the East and West Coasts. Her connection to Mother Earth blossomed and she also fell head over heels with the sweet and mischievous goats under her care. Katrina is convinced she is one of them in human form.  After learning about the horrific plight of farm animals within our food system, Katrina joined the public policy department of an international animal welfare organization to advocate for the voiceless and vulnerable farm animal population. Her advocacy endeavors continued in Seattle where she traveled to homeless shelters, food pantries, and low-income housing facilities to teach healthy cooking and nutrition classes to at-risk communities. She misses hiking the beautiful Pacific Northwest and camping under the stars although she has not mastered the art of making s’mores. Katrina is very much looking forward to supporting the ICM team. She hopes to make a genuine, meaningful and lasting impact by empowering each individual she is fortunate to serve. Katrina has a Master's degree from Columbia University.

Emma is excited to be back working for the IRC in a new capacity and looking forward to following the trajectory of clients' paths from arrival to self-sufficiency!
