You extend hospitality, even in a pandemic

Last updated

In case you missed it, the IRC in Atlanta's Executive Director, J.D. McCrary, shared the below email last Friday, reflecting on all that we have accomplished together in the past four months.

Dear friends,

I am continuously humbled by your generous support of the IRC in Atlanta and the people we serve. Your willingness to sustain our robust local response to the global COVID-19 pandemic continues to uplift us during this challenging period of remote service delivery and I wholeheartedly thank you.

In the past four months, together we:

We could not do this work without you. It takes all of us—volunteers, clients, donors, employees and community partners—to continue the 40-year legacy of extending welcome, and especially now in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please renew your commitment to the IRC in Atlanta today, and together we can ensure our new American neighbors can pursue their dreams as they enjoy the rights, liberty and equality of opportunity that is promised to us all.

Thank you for standing with us and the people we serve.

J.D. McCrary, Executive Director

P.S.–If you would like to receive an IRC t-shirt or yard sign as a thank you gift for your donation, please contact Development Director, Marian Dickson, at Marian.Dickson [at] Rescue.org.
