Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, refugee community leaders have helped provide masks, language accessible documents and videos, and put their lives on the line for their community.

The IRC in Boise is committed now more than ever to fighting racism and xenophobia in all its forms. Black lives matter, today and every day.

On Saturday, June 20, refugee supporters from across the state came together for the 20th annual celebration of World Refugee Day.

Halyna and Nabila are two EVS technicians in Idaho working on the hospitals' first line of defense to keep our community safe.

Idaho Gives, a two-week online giving campaign, is an opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe and help nonprofit organizations connect to the larger community. The campaign has now begun and will run through May 7, and this year, the IRC in Boise will be fundraising to support refugees who have been impacted by COVID-19.

The IRC in Boise is working hard to ensure refugee and immigrant communities have the information they need about COVID-19 to stay healthy, prevent community spread, and respond appropriately to symptoms. Despite significant modifications to program delivery, staff remain as committed as ever towards serving refugees and immigrants in Idaho.
