Youth FarmWorks, a job training urban farm, provides refugee, immigrant, and at-risk youth from City Heights with job readiness skills and offers the community fresh local produce.

This is a monthly volunteer opportunity within the Food and Farming Department at the International Rescue Committee in San Diego.

One of the many services offered by the Immigration department at the IRC in San Diego is a free Citizenship Test Preparation Course to help individuals learn the material they will need to know in order to pass the United States citizenship examination. 

Since early November, the IRC in San Diego has been responding to the needs of asylum seeking families in San Diego who have been released by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention with no resources as they await their asylum hearing.
