The IRC in Seattle launches new digital equity initiative
Due to the pandemic, many aspects of life have gone digital - work, learning, resource navigation, socializing. The IRC's new digital equity initiative helps newcomers access critical resources and skill-building in order to overcome the so-called digital divide.

Two years ago, 29-year-old Eiman landed in Seattle from Afghanistan with her husband and two young sons. She began building a new home here in Washington and with help from the IRC’s Economic Empowerment Program, Eiman pursued a new career as a professional interpreter.
