This visit to Seattle was a unique opportunity for CO trainers and IRC staff to exchange knowledge and experiences. Better Together Family Program

Last year, the IRC in Seattle launched the Better Together Family Program to support refugee mothers of young children who are new to the Seattle area. Program participants recently went on a fun, educational, and quintessentially Seattle outing to the Pacific Science Center – complete with a ride on the monorail! Eagle Scout collects 1,700 pounds of food for local families

After learning about the IRC, Eagle Scout Ethan was inspired to help newcomers in his community. With the help of family, friends, and his Eagle Scout troop, Ethan collected more than 1,700 pounds of food. What a wonderful example of making #RefugeesWelcome!
