New Roots, New Opportunities
The IRC's New Roots program has been helping newcomers access land and grow healthy food for their families for years. Now we're helping gardeners bring their produce to the wider community. IRC gardener Krishna, once a farmer in Bhutan, shares about his experiences as a first-time seller at the new Tukwila Farmer's Market.

We put the call out for backpacks and school supplies and you delivered! We've received 200 backpacks, tons of school supplies, and healthy snacks for refugee and immigrant students heading back to school. Thank you to all community members and organizations who contributed!
