Raising awareness of the National Human Trafficking Hotline

On August 20, the Federal South Florida Human Trafficking Task Force hosted an event to raise public awareness of the National Human Trafficking Hotline (1-888-373-7888). The Task Force—led by the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations and Miami-Dade Police Department—has participated in more than 100 human trafficking community outreach events in 2019.

Refugee Resettlement Intern

The Resettlement Intern will assist the Resettlement Caseworkers in supporting refugee clients settling in their new homes, coordinate necessary meetings and appointments, and provide administrative support. Travel within Tallahassee may be required depending on project needs.

How to donate to Tallahassee

Private donations contribute greatly to the success of the IRC's work. Although we receive state and federal funding for initial resettlement and employment services, the assistance we provide to refugee families beyond their first few months in the U.S. would not be possible without community support.
