World Refugee Day 2021 in Arizona
World Refugee Day is on June 20th! Between June 14th and June 20th (and always) we’re acknowledging the strength and resiliency of our new neighbors, and the talents and skills they bring to our communities here in Arizona.
Arizona will welcome more refugees in 2021. Here's how you can help.
In Arizona, the IRC is already working to resettle newly arrived refugees while preparing for increased arrivals in the months to come. So far this year, the IRC has resettled 46 refugees in Phoenix and 14 in Tucson. 22 more refugees are currently scheduled in Phoenix and 26 scheduled in Tucson. Additional refugee arrivals are expected to be scheduled as the year continues.

The Arizona Asylum Network is a network of medical and behavioral health professionals from across the state, who volunteer to conduct evaluations for asylum-seekers.
