The International Rescue Committee’s Youth Ambassador Program (YAP) strives to engage high school students in a conversation about current events and issues facing the global community. High school students from across San Diego County will come together for this two week intensive program, following a curriculum that allows students to learn about humanitarian crises and how they affect lives around the world and in our own community.
Multicultural experiences gained during this program will follow students through the remainder of their studies and equip them to be more informed and involved global citizens in college and beyond.
