The International Rescue Committee (IRC) welcomes the interest of suppliers and manufacturers who can provide needed equipment, services, materials and supplies to our organization. We believe that only through cooperation between our supply partners and ourselves can we receive the best price for the right products in an atmosphere that is fair to all.
The IRC’s procurement practices are governed by our internal rules and regulations as well as by various donor and grant regulations. As a result, our Administrative requirements may vary depending on the equipment or service procured, and for which program or office the transaction is supporting. All Request for Proposals and Request for Quotes will clearly list our requirements, and the eligibility requirements for those supply partners that wish to participate in the tender.

PROVISION OF VOCATION SKILLS TRAINING FOR URBAN REFUGEES AND HOST COMMUNITIES IN KAMPALA, UGANDA
The International Rescue Committee, hereinafter referred to as “the IRC”, is a non-profit, humanitarian agency that provides relief, rehabilitation, protection, resettlement services, and advocacy for refugees, displaced persons and victims of oppression and violent conflict. The IRC has been working in Uganda since 1998 in response to mass displacement and devastation wrought by the rebel group, the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). Since then, in partnership with various donors, the IRC in Uganda has expanded to meet the needs of the conflict-affected regions of Karamoja and Acholi, and in the West Nile region, Southwestern Uganda as well as amongst urban refugees in Kampala and has a requirement to contract vocational institutions to provide vocational skills training to IRC clients—urban refugees and the host communities in Kampala with more focus on the three divisions of Makindye, Rubaga and Central Divisions.
The IRC Uganda program invites applications from interested vocational training institutions in Kampala for provision of vocational skills training for urban refugees and host communities in the three divisions of Makindye, Rubaga and Central.
MASTER SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR TRANSPORT SERVICE (VEHICLE HIRE) -IRC SUDAN
The IRC Sudan program invites proposals from interested bidders for the provision of vehicle hire services for Khartoum and Gedaref. IRC will sign a Master Service Agreement for two (2) years with the successful bidders. All bidders who are currently engaged by IRC are required to re-apply in order to comply with conditions stipulated the RFP.
RFI - Local technology partners and hardware providers - Bangladesh
We are looking for local technology partners and hardware manufacturers to sell or lease tablets or other devices, support connectivity, storage and charging solutions, and assist with technology set-up, training and management.
The local technology partner should have technical capabilities to set-up devices with software, support any technology-related challenges that may arise in the field (remotely and/or in-person), and work with our design team to explore storage, connectivity and charging solutions in areas with low resources and high levels of constraints.
Our vision is to work closely with the local technology partner to develop and execute an optimized model in our next phase in Cox’s Bazar. Based on a successful execution in Cox’s Bazar, we hope to continue working with the local technology partner as we scale-up the program.
RFI - Local Content Creators - children in literacy & numeracy - Bangladesh
We are looking for local content creators to help create a highly contextualized, comprehensive, adaptive course for children in literacy and numeracy. The local technology partner should have a solid understanding of foundational literacy and numeracy curriculum and local context of the host communities in Cox’s Bazar and the coastal belt of Bangladesh to spearhead the content creation that is aligned with the learning needs of the community, accommodate low-literacy users, and is linguistically appropriate and culturally relevant.
Our vision is to work closely with the local content creation partner(s) to develop and execute an optimized model in our next phase in Cox’s Bazar. Based on a successful execution in Cox’s Bazar, we hope to continue working with the local technology partner(s) as we scale-up the program.

RFP - IRC - Technology partner for educational messaging platform (Audio Class)
We wish to engage with Providers who can:
• Create an end to end solution - leveraging another platform such as Twilio, Dialogflow, or RapidPro if necessary
• Provide these features through any technology stack to facilitate automation of interactive educational messaging via WhatsApp, (and ideally also through Facebook Messenger, or Telegram) to students, and create an easy to use dashboard for teachers to create content and track their students.
• Assist with the set-up of a WhatsApp Business API for the program in Colombia including; o provide flow guidance and opportunities o automate communication flows based on curriculum content provided o train IRC staff and teachers on using the dashboard o collect data from participants during implementation o provide ongoing technical support.
