The International Rescue Committee in San Diego hosted the 12th Annual A Taste of the IRC dinner and welcomed over 300 guests to experience first-hand the what refugees bring to the table – from international cuisine to art from around the world, the event celebrated the culture and contributions of San Diego’s refugees.

In honor of International Day of the Girl, the IRC in Los Angeles is excited to share the artwork and stories of girls in our Unaccompanied Children program through a virtual 'art show'. The girls, who participated in our Summer Arts and Wellness program, have created self portraits, artwork, and stories to share their dreams and hopes for the future - which are just as big and beautiful as you might expect!

Even throughout the winter months, the IRC in Atlanta’s New Roots Garden Club at Clarkston High School stays active and busy! With a lot of help from our friends and community partners, students experienced and enjoyed a variety of engaging workshops in the lead up to spring.

The IRC in NJ office was excited to host this year’s Drive in early March!

For the last four years, the IRC in Dallas has been holding a Robing Ceremony the night before graduation to honor fifteen high school graduates who started their journey in the US as refugees. Since we are unable to gather this year, we are sharing the great accomplishments of these remarkable students here.
