The IRC in Texas is proud to welcome new Executive Director Suzy Cop!

Many newcomers arrive in the U.S. with a wealth of professional skills and experience, but starting one’s career over again in a new country can be an overwhelming process. Career Connect is a new IRC program helping refugees take steps toward re-entering professions they were forced to leave behind.

In its fourth year, the Refugee Youth Summer Academy brought 90 refugee students together at Kean University for three wonderful weeks this summer.

The IRC in Northern California is excited to share our new Crowdrise page, which will allow community members to better fundraise for local resettlement.

On July 27th, the Phoenix Welcome Center for Asylum-Seeking Families opened its doors for the first time. This was a beginning to the humanitarian assistance provided by the IRC and partner organizations.  

The IRC in NY is so grateful for the collaboration between PS 154 Harriet Tubman School and the literary non-profit Behind the Book for pulling off a one-of-a-kind fundraiser!

On Saturday, June 23, 400 people gathered at Refuge Coffee Co. in Clarkston to show support for their neighbors and to celebrate and honor the vast contributions that refugees make to our communities in honor of World Refugee Day 2018.
