Low-income families struggle with financial volatility in their daily lives.  During COVID-19, these struggles have been amplified. 

As many people will not have wide-spread access to COVID-19 vaccines this year, these months are crucial to begin building trust, engaging communities, and increasing both knowledge and acceptance of the vaccine so that once doses do arrive, a successful rollout can occur. In this report the International Rescue Committee (IRC) demonstrates how informal education programming in Cox’s Bazar is constrained by a number of major challenges: limited and short-term funding; low quality of teaching; programme restrictions and approval delays; infrastructural limitations; and low levels of enrolment and student retention – all challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 outbreak and response
