For the last four years, the IRC in Dallas has been holding a Robing Ceremony the night before graduation to honor fifteen high school graduates who started their journey in the US as refugees. Since we are unable to gather this year, we are sharing the great accomplishments of these remarkable students here.

Two of our outstanding administrative volunteers share their hopes for the new year and why they devote time every week to help make refugees welcome in Washington.

Adam Kinne, general manager at Cabinetry by Karman in Salt Lake City, reflects back to when he first reached out to the International Rescue Committee with hopes of hiring refugees to his team.

An asylum seeker from El Salvador shares his experience migrating to the US, and how the IRC's Unaccompanied Children Program has helped him navigate the difficulties of resettling in a new city. “I think it’s great that an organization like IRC exists to support young people who are migrants like me.”
