We are going to take a deep dive into the process of refugee resettlement at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Wichita. This month, we’ll focus on the basics of initial resettlement, including the process a refugee must undergo to be considered for resettlement in the U.S. and the days leading up to their arrival through the eyes of IRC staff and volunteers in Wichita.

IRC is searching for an experienced, client-focused social worker to support our clients on their path to wellness and self-sufficiency through the KFCR program. In this position, you will have a direct impact on program participants, supporting them to fulfill their potential in a trauma-informed, culturally competent manner.

For the fourth consecutive year, your generous donations ensured 31 dedicated DeKalb County high school students could commit a portion of their summer break to our 2021 Ready, Set, College! summer camp, preparing them to gain admission to college and succeed in higher education and beyond!
