The IRC in Atlanta is partnering with CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) to provide free walk-up COVID-19 testing to community members in Clarkston. Founded by actor Sean Penn and Ann Lee, CORE is working with local organizations across Georgia—and the U.S.—to provide much-needed access to COVID-19 testing.

If you’ve spotted a 2016 grey Honda Odyssey mini-van driving around Baltimore lately, you may have come across IRC staff and clients at work. Last year the IRC purchased its first mini-van with generous support from the France-Merrick Foundation, and the results have paid off.

Despite pandemic related challenges, the family has had many successes.

In May, Elie, his wife Delphine, and four children arrived in Salt Lake City from a Kenyan refugee camp. Elie hopes for a better future for his children in Utah as he works hard to achieve his family's dreams.
